The ACM Symposium on Cloud Computing 2018 (SoCC '18) is the ninth in an established series of symposia that bring together researchers, developers, users, and practitioners interested in cloud computing. SoCC is co-sponsored by the ACM Special Interest Groups on Management of Data (SIGMOD) and on Operating Systems (SIGOPS).

This year, SoCC is conveniently located near OSDI '18 in Carlsbad, California. OSDI is October 8-10, right before SoCC, at a hotel a few miles away. SoCC '18 will be held at the Cape Rey Carlsbad Beach Resort.
